Work is getting more interesting. I really like my job a lot. There is such a variety that everyday is a new experience. I get to play with broken computers, perform upgrades, build rates, build reports, build VOX files (files that provide access to an automated system), build applications, and more and more and more. This weekend will be interesting however. The big boss (Dan) is gone for the weekend, so that means I'm on call all weekend. If something explodes, it becomes my problem. That's sort of cool, but sort of scary at the same time. For instance today, we had a minor explosion. When I walked in all conversation stopped and one of our secretaries (and so much more) was like "Lyle!!!! We're so glad you're here!" (which is always scary when you work IT). There were some broken files and vox files were broken, and blah blah. It was cool to actually feel needed though.

Beyond that nothing is going on. Lots of SWG, and that's pretty much it. I look forward to getting to play all day tomorrow. Oh, I hate this boss in Golden Sun. I can't beat him. I've been trying off and on for like 3 months >_<

Well, I'm poor. But I'm happy. I spent my paycheck on the pieces of a new computer requisite for Star Wars Galaxies. This game is awesome. It's like EQ without the frustration. EQ was awesome, don't get me wrong; but it was singular in purpose and design. To advance you had to kill stuff. SWG has changed the whole game. Tim makes fun of me, but I'm an entertainer. I sit in a cantina most of the time and play music. What's more, I'm progressing in the game. I think that is awesome. As far as bugs go, there are quite a few... but the game has huge potential. I can hardly wait for some of the patches they have planned. Beyond that; I've done absoutely nothing. Good times.

Man, summer is so boring! I spent the last 45 minutes coming up with a new recording for my cell-phone message. How lame is that? It's even lamer when you hear what it is... but let me tell you; some of the choices were classic.

Not much is going on, but is that a surprise? Well, there is one thing. These damn fruit flies that invaded our house like 2 months ago have yet to leave. They are always in your face! BAH! Me hates them! HATES THEM FOREVER!! Work is much fun now that I get to work on computers, and otherwise. I just got my first programming assignment yesterday. That's right Dancristobalians, you'll soon be using an app written by yours truly to turn in your vacation requests! I'm sure you're all excited.

So, I was thinking the other day... (that means the rest of this post will be long). I haven't had a girlfriend for 2 years! I don't know if that's a good or bad thing, but it's something. I guess it's a good thing, since I know myself reasonably well... but I guess it's a bad thing; since the idea of going on a 'real' date makes me want to hide under my bed. Why is it that if you're in touch with yourself (no pun intended) you've no idea how to deal with others? I really have no clue as to proper dating etiquette (but I bet I can spell it better than anyone who does). I suppose someone might find that endearing... but I've been at a loss to find her. Yet, at the end of the day I find myself asking... what would I do if I did have someone? Probably be so absorbed and lame I would be back where I started. Experiences this year past illustrated that behaviour once more... It's a lot to think about. I guess that's why I don't most of the time. Most girls seem trite and silly anyway. Well, I'd say this is depressing; but it isn't really... There isn't much to say on the subject, but I've written a volume. So I'll let your eyes rest, reader. Good night.

I was sitting next to Brad today, he's a punk kid that likes to pretend he can beat me up. That's not important. We were on the same network, so I could net send messages to his computer. He had just hit me, and sat back at his station. So I net sent: ERROR 2601: Press OK to get punched and stood up waiting for him to hit OK. It was quality. Okay, so it sounds lame. You would have cracked up if you were here though. Okay... shut.. my life is boring *sob*

Nothing is happening here. Life is very boring. I get home from work, and I'm instantly bored. Yeah... that's pretty much it...

Boring, boring, boring. Nothing at all is going on. I got a couple of games in honor of pay day. I picked up Advance Wars 2, for GBA, as well as Soul Calibur II (import) for Xbox. These games both rock. Beyond that nothing exciting is happening. Oh, I'm going to buy a new computer, so I can play Star Wars Galaxies. That's pretty big news. I got to play that the other day at Bob and Pat's house. It's VERY pretty; and looks to be a lot of fun. Beyond that... boring!
