So yesterday was boring, nothng happened. But, today... today was great. I didn nothing but play video games. Oh sure, I guess I had a midterm too, but that's fine: I played video games! I also started beta-testing Everquest for Mac. So that I guess is going fine too. Today was tasty... but tomorrow will be filled with homework. Alas.

I got a GBA-SP. I also picked up a copy of Golden Sun from The Wherehouse. I started playing at work yesterday, gotta love the fact I can do that. What's more, since the it has a built in recharable battery; i don't even have to spend money on that! So I'm pretty stoked.

Haha, okay. Nothing is really going on. I mean not much has really happened yet. I'm about half-way through my shift and bored out of my mind. I haven't even looked at my homework yet... I'm living dangerously. I did however find the funniest comic ever. Well, it may not be the funniest EVER, but it amused me greatly for the first four hours of my shift.
So yesterday was entertaining, I went to two parties. First party was at Meghan's house; it was a celebration of their completion of their decoration of their front room. Shane and I rhymed the night away. The next party was at Chris' place, and there I dipped into the vodka I bought the last time Chris had a party (which for the record was like 3 months ago). It was a very enjoyable evening, filled with revelry and me telling my (in)famous "monk story". I also for no apparent reason checked to see if Chamile (sorry, I'm sure I butchered her name) was wearing Banana Republic. I don't know why I looked, but it turned out she was. I also seem to remember calling Brion a Jew. Yeah... and I hate to admit it, but I touched Myles' breast. It was a good party, we played games... watched Patti drink thimble-size sips. Yeah.
So this morning I woke up with that wonderful "not quite there" feeling, and went off to church. I'll give you one guess who was there. You're right!! It was Arianna! Yay for her! She's so adorable... I think I'm going to die. I said 'hi', but didn't really have anything to say to her. I ended up making a hasty retreat back to my pew. I feel like the grade schooler spoken of by the great Eddie Izzard.
Do you like.... bread?
Well I've got a french loaf! BAM! (runs)
I love you!!!
Yeah... but alas; Brion told me she has her eye on some other man. So we'll see how things will go. In any case; she seems a fascinating person to come to know in any respect.
Well I'm done for now, adios.

Well, that was a waste of time. I went choir and it turned out I didn't even have to be there today. I hate it when that happens. I could have been at home; playing PSO. Oh well, I might have some time this weekend to play... although that is doubtful. We'll see what happens.
So I continuing the story of the last few days... Tuesday was boring and pretty uneventful, Wednesday was more of the same... Well I guess that isn't entirely true. I was supposed to go to lunch with Julia, but I got stood up. The plan was she'd call me around 12:30... around 9:00 she did finally call. Her excuse was... unimpressive. It was a very strange situation. I don't think I've ever been stood up before. It wasn't that I was really upset at being stood up, and it wasn't that I thought she had a horrible excuse. I don't know, it was just very upsetting. I guess it's probably that I trust people very easily, and this was just a sad reminder that you can't always do that. Yet, all is well. I'm not upset at her, just bothered by my own reaction. I guess I'm not so great with new situations.
So yesterday beyond that, I went to ballroom and had a relatively good time. I wasn't feeling that great at first, but then Julia came... and then Arianna came... and when there are two pretty girls in the room you can't help but feel better. Plus, after the lesson they played a decent amount of good swing. I love swing dancing; I know my "style" may not be the best, and maybe my "moves" don't always work out, but frankly I don't care. It's such a good time moving in time to awesome music.
So guess what I just got? A totally sweet tee-shirt. Well, I guess it isn't TOTALLY sweet. But it was TOTALLY free. Our main secretary came by and handed me a liscence plate cover, a free phone card and a tee-shirt. Aren't you jealous that you don't work for the coolest telecom company in the world? Yeah, that's what I thought. So that's what I've got for now, I'm sure I'll be bored soon again. I've only been here for an hour >_<

So this will just be a quick post; seeing as I'm not at work and bored out of my mind yet. I'm sitting up in the UU (and loving the fact that I can sit up in the UU on the internet!) waiting for choir to start. The past few days have been mostly uneventful. I did my EE homework yesterday; and I even understood it. I decided that I need to understand this poo, so I went to the tutor. The tutor did happened to end up being my good friend Eric, so that turned out well in all respects.
And since I just got distracted using campus bandwidth to download some mp3s... I'll finish this up at work! You see... Beethoven is waiting for me.

I wanted to die in EE today. I really can't stand it at all. It's not that the material is bad... it's just so damn confusing. He wrote stuff on the board, and the entire time I had no idea what was going on. It is very frustrating....
In other news, I finally got to play Phantasy Star Online. It's quite fun, and I can see myself sinking quite some time into it. The xbox communicator is an awesome feature, I really like being able to talk to who I'm playing with. As far as yesterday, all I did was work, and play PSO for an hour when I got off. So nothing really all that exciting happened at all. Yeah, so I guess I'll start me EE homework I didn't do yesterday now... pity me.

So yesterday was pretty fun. I ended up getting off work a good hour early, which made me very happy. I was feeling pretty awake still, so I went over to the guitar store and got to play practically all of their instruments. That was very fun, but it's going to be a very tough descision... They all sound so different, and have such different feels. There is one other guitar store I'd like to go to before I make a final choice. I think I'm going to end up with the first guitar I tried out over at Blue Note Music. After that I went back home and fell asleep, the most wonderful and refreshing sleep I've had for sometime. I was very dead, but woke up surprisingly refreshed in time to take a shower and get prepared for movie night. A good number of BU people showed up at my house for 'Much Ado About Nothing', actually more than I expected. I really only though Mr. G. and Julia would come; but Nick, Myles, Eric, Charm (and her cookies) and another guy came too. It's always fun watching movies with friends. After the movie, we sent Mr. G and Myles to collect soda and we ordered some Fatte's Pizza. Yum, yum... sweet, sweet chicken and man(white)-sauce pizza. Very tasty, good times, good conversation. After that we headed over to Bali's for some yogurt and met up with some fringe BU members. There our party split, half went with Dan to watch the Matrix; the other half with me to sing in the Arch Building.
I love the way it sounds in there, the echoing is so neat. Myles, Mary, Charm, and Kenny (for a bit) hung out at the top of the stairs... but we were unfortunately rather sedate. It was of course fun, but by no means the wild time usually experienced at the top. We'll have to make another attempt soon.
Today is pretty blah, I have HW to do here at work; but no desire. I got PSO back from Trevor, so I'll get to play that a little tonight when I get off work. I also downloaded the new Splinter Cell mission, which I beat today. It wasn't too hard, but it was great to play a new mission in a game that kicks ass. If they release an expansion via the internet for a reasonable price, I'll be first in line to buy it. So, that's the story for today.

My goddamn rock solid ghetto shiznit name is Fellatio Kool.
What's yours?
Powered by Rum and Monkey.
Why did God invent 6:30 in the morning?! So yeah, last night I got 2.5 hours of sleep. 2.5! That's shorter than the Lord of the Rings! That's shorter than Harry Potter! That's shorter than Ben Vereen and Charlie Sheen!! So suffice to say, I'm pretty damn tired right now. Suprisingly I'm not dead on my feet, I feel fairly alert...but it is after all only 15 till 9, so I doubt it's really hit me yet.
So 'why?' you ask did I get so little sleep? Well the truth of the matter is I was out with Julia! I had a great time, we went to Gigi's, and they had this awesome latin jazz band, with a really cool singer lady. The music was awesome, I think I'll have to go on Fridays more often. (I usually go on Saturday, when they have more traditional jazz). Music aside, the company was most welcome. Julia is a fascinating person, and very fun to talk to.
After Gigi's we went over across the street to a bar called Blue. Blue was okay... and by 'okay' I mean pretty crappy. The architecture of the building was awesome, and the bar had awesome potential. However, the atmosphere was just crap. They had cheesy music piped through speakers, annoying bar-wenches (not even worthy of the esteemed 'cocktail waitress' title), and worst of all... young people. Any time there are people of my own age in a bar, it instantly becomes crappy. I mean face it, college age kids generally have no taste, or if they do have taste; it's so buried in their own convoluted visions of grandeur that it comes out as trite and pititful. (I'm sure I'm probably in the latter group, never assume that I think myself better than my peers =P)
So Blue dissapointed me. Perhaps if we'd come earlier our experience would have been different, but both Julia and I agree: If there isn't a live band, and cheezy muzack is piped in; there is a major loss in points. On the upside, the bar itself is awesome looking, I like the layout and the chairs. There is a lot of wood, and the place just screams "I want to be cool, but all these dumb-heads are ruining me!". We read the plaque outside, and learned the building has a lot of historical signifance. We also confirmed Julia to be very, very, very astute observer. While we were inside she commented that because of the large windows the building must have originally been a bank, because only places like that could afford such large expanses of glass. Upon inspection of the plaque we found she was right. I was basically astounded. As the night developed she continued to make very insightful, and very interesting observations... it was really quite enthralling to hear such a unique view.
After exiting the farce that is Blue, we took a little tour of the downtown area. I got quite the local history of San Luis. Did you realize that banditos were lynched in front of our Mission? And did you realize that right next to the Mission (on the same block as ... guh.. Bull's) there is an old building with a steel (or iron?) facade. It was the old general store, and it's metal facade was designed to protect the building while maintaing it's shape. I've never learned so much just walking around with someone! It was great!
Afterwards we went to Woodstock's and had a very long conversation over salad and "Wilde Bread" (which by the way, is the wildest bread this side of the Mississippi!). All in all the entire night was very fun, and I look forward to getting to know Julia better, she's very interesting indeed.
So all that aside, the day is shaping up to be a pretty okay day. I bought PSO yesterday for xbox, but I let Trevor's roommate borrow it. I won't have time to play this weekend anyway, so I figured I may as well share the wealth. Trevor is also in possession of the controller of death. He was borderline orgasmic when I said he could borrow it. Hopefully it'll come back without sticky joysticks =P Tonight I'm watching "Much Ado About Nothing" with the good ol' Ballroom-Underground. If anyone actually reads this, and is interested in coming; all are invited. I doubt that many will come tonight anyway. It's like 9:20 now... I'm starting to feel that whole '2.5 hours of sleep' type thing. *Groan*
Oh, here's a funny note. I got home early in the morning to find a strange man on our couch. It was Dillion, who probably now hates me for turning the lights on at whenever I got back. I turned them back of quickly, but when I got up this morning he wasn't laying and sleeping on the couch any more. At some point during my 2.5 hours of rest he sat upright, because when I came downstairs to go to work he was sitting straight up and down. It was sort of eerie looking for my hat.... Yeah, so that' s it for the moment. You're probably sick of reading anyway, this thing is pretty damn long.

Gunna be thirsty this summer? Watch out for one of these.
I'm at work now. It's surprisingly boring. I'm on prepaid, but there aren't very many angry Indians yelling at me yet. There has been a ton of Spanish calls, but those usually get frustrated at my poor Spanish and hang up quickly =P So yeah, today was pretty boring. Although I did have a bit of excitement midday. I had just gotten done with class around 10am and I went up to the UU to wait around for an hour for choir to start, then Mr G. (aka 'Kenny') IMed me asking me if I wanted any Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Of course I couldn't help but say 'no', but he wanted milk... and I wasn't home. So he came up to the UU and brought them, and I bought milk. We proceded to veg. in front of my laptop and watch Family Guy. How great is that? I love my ibook. Honestly.
So yesterday I went with Mr. G., Cori, and Julia to Firestone after Ballroom. Dumb ol' Brion, Sandy and Patti didn't even come to Ballroom. Some sort of audtion. Hmph. Yeah, but Firestone was fun. Julia is pretty hillarious, very fun to be around. I look forward to going to get drinks tonight with her. (Although at the same time I dread getting up tomorrow to come to work at 6:30!!) So yeah, that's how everything is today!

EE lab was less than painful today. Don't get me wrong... my feelings are still the same. Yet, we did get out an hour and a half early! That makes me pretty happy. It'll let me waste some time before I get back to my final 2 EE HW problems. (*barf*) Yeah, so I'll probably watch some Family Guy and then think about doing my HW.
Oh, as a foot-note to last night: I had a ton of fun at Madonna Inn last night! Usually I have fun, but for some reason I had more fun than usual. Maybe it was the Vodka Collins I had. In any case, it was fun. Afterwards I went with Brion and Julia to Tio Alberto's. It was very fun to talk to Julia (and I guess Brion was okay too).
My roommate Tim left today for home, so I won't be seeing him for like a month I guess. That sucks, but I guess on the upside I'll be having my own room! And you all know what that means? That's right ladies!! C'mon over! Well, more than likely that won't be happening, but we can all dream... right?

In my perpetual quest to not do my EE homework I've decided to make sure you all know about Tami Stronach. If you've ever seen The Neverending Story you'll remember the Child-Like Empress. Right? Well I had the biggest crush ever on her when I was a kid. I would watch that movie over and over, just so I could see her at the end. What a cutie she is (and was!) So yeah... she's 30 now, probably married... but man. So that's the story for this hour, I'm sure I'll find something else to distract from EE soon.
Woo, it's almost choir time. That means an hour of Beethoven! I didn't know if I'd like this piece, but it's really sweet actually. I'd actually like to track down recording at some point. Yeah... so, by the way: EE sucks! I hate doing my HW so much I want to die just thinking about it. It's retarded to the max. Yeah, so that's the story for this hour.
Okay. So basically it goes like this. I'm tired of sitting on this domain and doing nothing with it. I simply don't have the time right now to develop it in the direction I'd like to see it go, so I'll just turn it into a blog. I'm not doing anything magical, nothing special. I'm using a crappy template that I thought looked okay from blogger. I'll probably update everyday of the weekend... but that's just because I'll be bored out of my mind at work. Yeah, so that's how it is now! Maybe someday in the future i'll do more, but not yet! So yeah; welcome to the L^2og.
