A place that will let me be slightly less bored at work.
A place that will let you see what I'm thinking about.
A place that will let me be lazy, and do no real development.
A place for you.
A place for me.

Well, as many of you know I was last to register for this quarter, consequently I am screwed for classes. Well, I guess I shouldn't say that... I did get 2 classes that count towards my graduation, but I'm still pursuing that elusive 3rd. To compound the pain, I only get my financial aid if I have 12 units. So I have to take one more class. I'm working on getting a history class, but it doesn't look too good. So basically I have to take a class that will mean nothing to my major. What was avaliable? CD128, "Nurturing Relationships: Infants and Toddlers". Wow, what a trip this class is. First and foremost; it's almost all women. I'd say there are nearly 35 people in the class and I've counted 2 other men. Two! I'm not complaining of course, but to say the least it is a bit different from my engineering classes. Next is the setting, we're not in a normal desks type classroom... no, we're in a kindergarten classroom. (I mean this literally, Cal Poly has a childcare center for its' students children). Yeah, half the class sits on the carpet... the other half at the mini tables in the mini chairs. The next thing is our break, sure a break isn't uncommon in a two hour class... but how about a snack? We all signed up the first day to bring a snack for our peers during one of the breaks! Our teacher brought us cookies the first day! Finally the entire manner of speech during class is different, our professor uses words like "nurture" and "feel". These are not engineering words! I don't really know what I expected, but regardless this class will be a unique experience. I'll write some more later about our assignments like our "memory basket" and our "birth story".... yeah.
