So I was reminded this morning of why you should never drink when you plan to get up at any hour. It seems in my old age, if I don't have the full amount of time required to recover from a night of boozin'... I barf. Oh, you probably don't want to read this if you're of weak constitution. Yeah, so I went to a party with Tim (unwillingly, but it turned out to be pretty damn fun!) and we drank, and on the walk back went to Taco Bell, and all other requisite drunken silliness (including a dip in the pool! There was an egg in there!) Anyway, I had planned on getting up to go to Church... I set my alarm... but when I woke up I was still "under the influence"... so now I had two reasons to feel bad. I'm missing Church on frickin' EASTER... and I'm drunk... still. Let me tell you, that's the worst thing in the world. Anyway, I decided I should try and go back to sleep since I obviously wasn't going to be driving to Church. Well, that plan didn't work either. I just lay there for 2 or so hours before I realized it was futile and got up and took a shower; mistake the second. Hot water on your head when you are drunk is no good... Well, the rest of the shower was uneventful. I went downstairs and started on a piece of toast... whoop! Time to BARF! Yay... >_< So I did my thing (there was a lot more in my stomach than I thought there would have been!) and finished my toast up. It's funny, as much as I hate barfing... I find it sort of relieving... so it doesn't really interrupt my flow. I mean, I was having breakfast... I barfed... and then continued breakfast. Yup... so that sucked. That was my morning. So what did I learn from the whole experience? Well, nothing new... just reinforcing old habits. It had been a long time since I'd drank in anything close to resembling excess... and it'll be along time again. Yeah... *shudder*
