It's funny how when you think no one cares, and you're basically tired of everything events happen that pose a dramatic shift in paradigm. My Dad came and visited me today, first I'd seen him in a year plus. It was awesome to spend time with him, and I hope he'll come around a bit more often. We talked a lot, about relationships and just about life in general. It was exactly the sort of talk I needed to have with someone, but at the same time the sort of talk I'm incable of producing between friends and acquantinces. I guess sometimes you just need your dad.
