Ahhhh... today was perfect. Since I've got the three-day weekend action going on, the town is how I like it: quiet. Furthermore, my homework load is light... which means I got to just relax today. I composed a few little songs in GarageBand (which came in last night). As soon as I get off my lazy butt, I'll make a page where you all can download them (little masterpieces they be). I also was physically active today, in the form of a brief hike up Black Hill in Morro Bay. After a breakfast of chocolate chip pancakes and country style bacon, Shane and I went out there to see what we could see. It was nice to get out of the house on a Saturday and see a little bit of the lay of the land. Maybe someday soon I'll hike up Bishop's Peak. After that I came back and did some laundry (which I was in excessive need of doing) and played some more with GarageBand. I ended the day with a Smile and Nod show (which was funny, but not near to the calibre of last weeks show) and a movie with my new buddy Teri. Let me express now how much I enjoy the movie Amélie, it is a quality piece of cinema that everyone needs to see. Being around Teri is a huge shift in thinking for me. I guess I'm just out of the loop now, or maybe I'm getting old. She moves at a million miles an hour, where I seem to barely to be able to muster 16. I would imagine hanging around with me is a different experience for her as well. I mean, I am a senior in college... so I'm like, theoretically, more mature (those that know me, know otherwise). It is funny though, we sharing a home town brings a feeling of kinship. It's sometimes nice to know that someone else has been on those streets, and tread your paths.

In other news: I'm starving. Remember that pancake breakfast I spoke about? It's been my only meal today... I need a snack >_<
